Ask by ahzembiq : I normally use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 for video editing. I would like to do some editing of video from a Flip camera. this footage does not seem to import to Premiere. I know there are ways to first convert all the video to a different format, then import to premiere. but I’d rather avoid doing that. So is there a good (not too basic) editor that will support Flip video natively, or without too much extra hassle?

as long as the format the flip video makes is supported by the program, it should do.

No ediors I know suppot flip videos natively, wmm for wmv, avi; sony vegas for mpg, wmv; adobe premiere for wmv, mpg, avi; iMovie for dv, mov, etc. I personnally like windows movie maker. I guess you need a versatile flip video converter to manage all popular formats:
