If the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is the ultimate Indian ramp to walk down, NIFT New Delhi alumnus Abhijeet Khanna is treading the road early. He started his career working as design assistant to Manish Arora. Picking up invaluable experience over four years, this talented designer who won the gold medal from his batch and the award for the Best Design Collection when he graduated has also marked his presence on the international ramp. He represented Indian Contemporary Design at Bijenkorf in 2003, a prestigious store in Amsterdam where he showcased his collection and won lots of accolades.

The label, RISA is promoted by Radhika and Amit Rastogi, also the promoters of Ana Mika, the near-eponymous label of Anamika Khanna. They spotted the immense talent of this young man and created the label, RISA, launched in December 2006. They were taken in by its fresh, young-at-heart appeal. Abhijeet’s first collection under this label, Spring Summer 2008, had been selected by an esteemed jury at London Fashion Week and will showcase there in September 2007. In a unique debut double, RISA has also been selected for a catwalk show at Delhi’s Fashion Week, September 2007.

Abhijeet aptly describes the label as fashion forward. The designs are eclectic and are a synthesis of the best of the east and the west. It reflects strong Indian influences in terms of techniques like hand embroidery and block prints even as it exudes global appeal with its silhouettes and palette.

Abhijeet is being mentored by a team in London. The team comprises the individuals who taught John Galliano, Alexander Mc Queen and Hussein Chalayan.

He brings to Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week the wilderness of the greens with wild flora. Inspired by the Far East, it is a bouquet of flowers blooming in an oriental forest. The argyle motif is predominant in the collection just as roses bring in colour and the promise of a fragrant day. For technique, he looks at tie and dye. The end result is a collection where the silhouette is feminine and takes you back to the early 1960s with knee-length skirts. The swatches are often silk flattered with Indian techniques of hand embroidery and block printing. The palette extends from reds to greens and pastel pinks, purple and yellow.

As Abhijeet says, the woman he designs for has soft, flowing hair that cascades down or is tied loose. She smells of spices and roses and tulips. Hers is an eternal youth, and her adolescence never vanishes, a woman whom age forgets. “She’s fair in the sun, glows in the dark, she loves summer, winter and a dance in the monsoons,” says Abhijeet.

“鳥巢”設計師ARUP將登場ISEC展卓越汽車工程方案

全球規模最大的工程咨詢公司，英國ARUP公司日前宣布將出席中國仿真科技應用領域首個大型國際性展覽會2007中國（上海）國際仿真工業展覽會暨工程師大會（ISEC2007），展示ARUP公司最新解決方案。

“鳥巢”將舉辦“歡樂冰雪季”

北京奧運會主體育場國家體育場“鳥巢”將從１２月１９日起，舉辦為期兩個月的“歡樂冰雪季”活動，使前來這里的游客們享受到滑雪、戲雪、賞雪的樂趣和特別的健身體驗。

賽事主辦單位２９日在“鳥巢”內舉辦了新聞通氣會，通報了這項活動的籌辦情況。

據悉，“歡樂冰雪季”將在國家體育場主場和附屬的熱身場地舉辦，面積達到５·７萬平方米，活動期間將是北京市區內最大的雪上運動中心。兩個月間，將以“鳥巢”中的冰雪世界為基礎，開展節日主題特色的表演與活動，為游客們提供一個冬季參與冰雪活動的健身場所。

據了解，屆時“鳥巢”主場內將搭建起高達２０·０８米的雪山主舞臺，開展“步步為贏”的冰雪闖關游戲，還設立了“歡樂大雪道”讓游客們嘗試在“鳥巢”內滑雪的感覺。在“鳥巢”附屬的熱身場內，設立了高臺滑雪、戲雪樂園和動物森林、雪地摩托等活動。

這項活動由國家體育場有限責任公司、北京時博國際體育賽事有限公司、北京電視臺體育中心聯合主辦。國家體育場有限責任公司負責人介紹，這是“鳥巢”舉辦的首屆冰雪主題活動，時間跨度長，覆蓋了元旦、春節等重要節日。這項活動不僅要營造濃郁的節日氛圍，還在奧運場館的賽后利用和體育文化創意產業的發展上進行探索。

“鳥巢”設計師建透明“空中堆疊房”

雅克·赫爾佐格和皮埃爾·德梅龍是北京2008年夏季奧林匹克運動會主體育場“鳥巢”的設計師。兩人把創新建筑風格帶到了紐約，打算建一幢透明“空中堆疊房”。他們在美國第一大城市紐約設計的新作高57層，預計耗資6.5億美元。新作品體現生動和堆疊感。這是赫爾佐格和德梅龍首次設計高層建筑，新建筑每層由145套大小不一、角度不同的房間交錯構成，每層看似各不相同。

　　他們對自己的“空中堆疊房”設計頗為得意，新建筑“像個有花邊、雜亂的魔方”，徹底改變美國傳統摩天大樓的建筑風格。它隱藏傳統建筑外部框架，所以看似幾乎全用玻璃壘成，人們從不同角度可以觀賞到不同的景觀。赫爾佐格說，設計方案以新方式使用“雕塑和材料，令它們重現生機”。新建筑設有5．4米高黑色花崗巖大廳，23米寬游泳池以及露天陽臺、圖書館、電影放映室、健身中心，預計2010年完工。每套房售價350萬美元至3300萬美元不等。

迷你倉-父親倒車碾死3歲幼子送醫院途中再撞2人

　　揚子晚報訊昨天上午，鎮江諫壁鎮發生一起慘禍，在鎮江開貨車的安徽滁州男子豐嘉鵠（化名），倒車時車輪從不足3歲的幼子身上碾過。在將幼子急送醫院搶救時，貨車又連撞一男一女。豐嘉鵠無論如何都不能面對自己親手“殺”死愛子又連撞兩人的殘酷現實，在鎮江第四人民醫院急診搶救室內，豐嘉鵠跪在搶救床前，猛抽自己耳光，在場護士忍不住陪著流淚。
　　父親倒車碾過幼子身
　　諫壁派出所民警蔣信平告訴記者，事情發生在昨天上午近10時。豐嘉鵠運了一車貨到諫壁鎮一廠區，在貨卸到一半時，豐嘉鵠準備換一個位置再卸貨，于是倒車。但他萬萬沒有想到，隨車而來的不足3歲的幼子已經下車玩耍，并且爬到了車肚內，而且就在車輪下。豐嘉鵠倒車時感覺到車輪被什么絆住了，以為是一塊石頭，于是就加了油門，車輪當即就從幼子的身上碾壓了過去！當發現車輪下的“石塊”是自己的愛子時，豐嘉鵠頓感五雷轟頂。蔣信平說，豐嘉鵠迅即抱起渾身是血的幼子，交到到場的父親手中，然后爺孫三人上了貨車，并駕車急往鎮江市區醫院趕。
　　駕車疾駛醫院又連撞兩人
　　一路上，豐嘉鵠心急如焚，又拉開了另一幕悲劇的大幕：貨車開至鎮江丁卯沃爾瑪超市附近時，慌亂中的豐嘉鵠駕車又連撞兩人。鎮江市民葛先生目擊了整個撞擊過程，立即撥打了120。葛先生告訴記者，貨車當時速度很快，先撞倒了一名男子，后又碰到了一名女子，接著又撞倒了一大片道路護欄，最后才停下來。
　　貨車剛停穩，就從車上跳下一年輕男子，手上抱著一個小孩，葛先生當時看得十分真切：“小孩子渾身是血，頭都耷下來了！”隨即，這名男子就攔了一輛出租車，疾馳鎮江四院。記者隨后從鎮江交巡警事故大隊核實了葛先生陳述的情況：貨車當時連撞兩輛電動車，受傷的一男一女很快被送鎮江一院急診科。
　　父親痛悔猛抽自己耳光
　　上午10時20分，豐嘉鵠抱著幼子下了出租車就直沖鎮江四院急診室。參與搶救的急診科醫生尹諾回憶當時情形說：豐嘉鵠沖進急診室就大喊“救命，救命！”初始尹諾還以為孩子抽筋，但看到孩子滿臉的血跡后，他意識到了問題的嚴重。“孩子口鼻里外全是鮮血，面部和胸部全是挫傷，在心臟按壓時，發現肋骨斷了多根！”尹諾說，他檢查時孩子就已無呼吸、心跳，瞳孔散大沒有血壓。但多名醫護人員還是迅速對孩子展開全力搶救，做了氣管插管和心肺復蘇術。在搶救了40分鐘后，終于無力回天而不得不放棄。
　　目睹現場搶救的護士告訴記者，看到孩子沒有生還希望，豐嘉鵠就跪在搶救病床前，緊緊拉住孩子的手嚎啕著，并不住地抽打自己的耳光，同時嘴里不停地說著：“都是爸爸不好，都是爸爸不好……”讓在場的護士都流下淚來。
　　搶救過程中，孩子的媽媽和奶奶陸續趕到搶救室，奶奶一度昏厥過去。尹諾說，后來家人給孩子買來一身新衣服，在擦拭盡孩子臉部的血跡后，給小孩穿上新衣。“孩子白白凈凈的，就像睡著了一般。”孩子的媽媽抱著孩子的尸體淚如雨下，久久不肯松手。
　　據了解，被送到鎮江一院救治的另一男一女，經檢查，女子并無大礙，但男子傷勢嚴重，仍在搶救中。
　　
　　

迷你倉-撫順一在建工地坍塌已致1人死亡1人重傷

　　10月13日下午2時，撫順市新撫區西8路撫順礦務局院內的一文體中心建設項目發生坍塌，造成2人被埋，其中1人死亡，1人重傷。
　　記者在現場看到，該建設項目的一層樓體的混凝土已經澆灌完畢，二層正在澆灌的部分發生了坍塌，大量鋼筋、腳手架伴著廢墟堆積在地面上，坍塌的面積大約有籃球場大小。據了解，事發時工人們正在進行二樓的混凝土澆灌工作。目前，撫順市相關部門領導及死傷者家屬已經趕到事發現場，相關部門正在積極調查處理。
　　

迷你倉-阜新煤礦事故：井下火災疑為煤層燃燒滅火搶險全面推開

　　新華網遼寧阜新電（王炳坤）遼寧省阜新市海州區中興煤礦東部井9日深夜發生火災事故，造成6人死亡，7人被困井下，已無生還可能。記者10日15時在事故現場看到，隨著兩臺大型注氮機運抵并開始安裝，井下滅火工作全面推開。
　　 10月9日23時許，中興煤礦東部井發生火災，救援人員找到6名遇難者遺體，并且確認剩余7人已無生還可能后，于10月10日凌晨4時許封閉井口，防止礦井因通風發生大面積燃燒。正在現場組織搶險的阜新市海州區副區長高敏輝介紹，經過升井礦工、救護隊員以及相關專家的描述分析，判斷井下火災最大的可能性為巷道煤層發生自燃導致的。
　　為了讓井下燃燒徹底熄滅，為工作人員下井搜尋剩余礦工和事故調查創造安全條件，救援工作組已經從當地的國有大型企業——阜新礦業集團緊急調來兩臺大型注氮機。
　　記者10日15時在現場看到，注氮機工作時必需的上百噸冷卻水已準備妥當，工作人員正在安裝兩臺注氮機，馬上就可投入使用。一名工程師告訴記者，注氮機實際上就是氮氣發生器，經過一定的氣壓向井下注入這種惰性氣體，這是較為先進的一種井下滅火法。
　　據專家組估計，事故礦井需注入3萬立方米以上的氮氣，整個注氮過程需要三四天時間。
　　阜新市煤炭局資料顯示，中興煤礦是一家民營企業，屬低瓦斯礦井，東部礦井是2003年經過技改新建的，核定生產能力每年9萬噸。東部井“五證一照”齊全有效。事故發生后，阜新市下發緊急通知，要求全市中小煤礦全部停產接受檢查。
　　高敏輝介紹，事故礦井為豎井，最深處離地面高度330米左右。東部井擁有員工240名，火災事故發生時，井下有兩個采煤小組共計60人在作業，其中47人安全升井。

Chandra and Jimmie and I met several times -- one time at a place where the folks of NASCAR are putting something back into the community to help the less fortunate. In this case it happened to be in a place called Victory Junction, in North Carolina, and it was a fabulous experience. And I want to thank you all very much for taking your fame and lending it to help somebody in need. It's really what makes America a great place. THE PRESIDENT: I've got the fishing champs of this year. And, Judy, thanks for coming. She is from Many, Louisiana. She won the Women's Bassmaster. And Alton Jones from Waco, Texas, won the Bassmaster Classic.

And I thought it was important to welcome these champs here to the White House so that -- you know, to encourage people to fish. There's nothing better than fishing. I had a fantastic experience with Alton and our friend, Charlie Pack. He was a famous local fisherman. And he said, do you want to go fishing with a fellow named Jones? I said, I've never heard of him, there's a lot people named Jones. (Laughter.) It turns out the man I was fishing with is the -- wins the Bassmaster Classic.

This is a good, clean sport. It's a sport that requires good conservation in order to make sure our fisheries are good, and I love to welcome the champs here. And so we're glad you're here. The people of Louisiana and Texas are proud of you.

MR. JONES: Well, it's an honor to be here. You know, fishing with you, I've got to say that President Bush is actually a very good fisherman and a great conservationist. And I'm really not sure who's working who here. I'm hoping to get an invite to fish on his lake in Crawford, and he's looking for a free fishing guide. (Laughter.)

MS. WONG: I would be glad to take you any day on Toledo Bend.

THE PRESIDENT: That's good.

PRESIDENT BUSH: I have just had a very constructive and important dialogue with the United Nations Envoy to Afghanistan. Mr. Ambassador, thank you so very much for coming to the Oval Office, and thank you so much for serving the cause of peace.

You've been given a very difficult job, which is to help coordinate world -- the world's efforts to help this young democracy succeed, and I want to assure you that the United States government and I personally support you in everything you're going to do.

We've supported this -- the creation of this position. We supported your nomination because you're a man of action, a man of determination, and a man willing to sacrifice to help the Karzai government, but more importantly, help the people of Afghanistan realize the blessings of liberty.

The Afghan theater in this war against the extremists is a vital part of making sure that peace prevails. And no question there's challenges. As I told the Ambassador, if this were easy we wouldn't have selected a man of his caliber to -- or the U.N. wouldn't have selected a man of his caliber to take on the task.

And so I appreciate your time. This is our first meeting, and I hope that -- I know it won't be the last. He's given me good advice. He's given me a picture with -- on how the United States government can help him accomplish his missions, and we're more than willing to help.

And so I welcome you to the Oval Office, and thank you for your great service.

AMBASSADOR EIDE: Thank you very much, Mr. President. For me, it's been an honor to be here, and also to feel the support and confidence that you have shown me as I now take on this very difficult assignment. And that support is very important to me. And then -- I have the confidence of the international community, and also the confidence of the Afghan government and the President of Afghanistan, which I feel very strongly of my first few weeks, that's -- those are important tools for me in order to perform my duties effectively.

We also discussed one important event that lies ahead of us, which is the Paris Conference on the 12th of June, and the importance of doing everything we can to mobilize support, mobilize donors, and also see to it that our efforts are as coordinated and as effective as they possibly can.

自2004年榮事達進入太陽能熱水器市場以來，6年間社會各界對于企業發展前景和專業性的質疑一直不斷。不過，這并未阻止以榮事達、美的、海爾、萬和為代表的一批家電企業開拓太陽能熱利用市場的熱情。

家電優勢有多大

與其說榮事達是家電進軍太陽能的優秀代表，倒不如說榮事達就是一家地道的太陽能企業。一位知情人士告訴《中國企業報》記者，當年潘保春以榮事達品牌切入太陽能領域，與同行最大的區別就在于，榮事達是一個比較響亮的家電品牌，已經擁有了較高知名度。不過，在產品研發、市場營銷、渠道開拓等方面，榮事達團隊則完全是按照太陽能的特點辦事，并未能在渠道拓展、產品研發等方面獲得集團更大的支持。

據悉，當年潘保春為了更好地貼近太陽能行業和市場，從太陽雨挖來了具有豐富經驗的梁自全擔當公司總經理一職，并從皇明、太陽雨等大企業撬來了不少的市場營銷人員。同時，與很多專業做太陽能的企業不同，由于榮事達的高社會知名度，在短短幾年前潘保春便借助這一塊金字招牌在市場上迅速打開銷售局面，特別是在大本營市場安徽獲得了絕對優勢。

品牌是撬動榮事達太陽能快速成長的決定性力量，最終這也成為海爾、萬和、美的等企業進入太陽能市場屢試不爽的奇招。目前，海爾已經成為太陽能市場最具競爭力的家電品牌，雖然仍與行業前五強存在一定差距，但上升速度特別快。

目前，家電類的太陽能企業在市場拓展中，則特別注意入鄉隨俗，通過發展區域代理商，尋找建材水暖店開設專營店等模式。鮮有家電企業將太陽能通過蘇寧、國美等連鎖渠道銷售。同時，許多家電的代理商由于不了解產品性能、不習慣先款后貨等結算方式，對銷售太陽能并不熱情。

對此，家電分析師洪仕斌卻指出，太陽能與家電的渠道基本無法對接。家電主要是通過連鎖賣場、百貨商城等渠道，而太陽能由于體積大、安裝復雜則必須是采取縣鎮專營店的模式。如果說，榮事達當初只想著借原來家電的渠道拓展銷售，肯定會遭遇滑鐵盧。

三大問題桎梏雙方和解國美之戰：卡在下半場

928票決開啟了和談大門，但一個月過去后，國美仍舊站在命運的十字路口上。談判的議題相互牽扯制衡，讓各方最終妥協進程緩慢。

問題一：國美分家嗎？

非上市門店去留未定

黃光裕的第一代言人、其妻杜鵑在928投票結束后公開表示，大股東不希望國美分裂成兩個。于是，在此后的數周里，幾乎每隔幾天就會傳出雙方就非上市門店達成共識的消息。黃光裕方面多次強調，相關問題沒有定論。但是，無論是輿論還是經銷商幾乎已經在這一問題上達成了默契：國美分家是最壞但最不可能出現的局面。

原國美電器決策委員會發展戰略研究室主任兼經營管理研究室主任、現任江蘇新日電動車副總經理的胡剛認為，分割國美的利弊顯而易見，受傷最大的是國美品牌。一塊牌子兩套班子的運營格局難免出現戰略和戰術的不統一。對黃光裕來說，目前，非上市門店的采購、銷售、門店、服務、信息和物流等十幾個管理系統都依賴上市公司，一旦分割，需要運營的資金大約為10億元。

對國美董事局來說，分家相當于折斷上市公司一只翅膀。根據此前公開的數據，非上市門店去年為國美電器提供人民幣2.335億元的費用總額，相當于上市公司凈利潤的16.67％。對貝恩來說，入股國美以圖獲得暴利的計劃也會付諸東流。反之，推動未上市門店注入上市公司會使上市公司的規模擴大，從而使得上市公司實現每股收益增厚和團隊穩定的良好局面。

非上市門店仍舊是黃光裕家族最實際的籌碼。黃家一再強調，非上市門店的注入問題需要在解決創始大股東在董事局里的合理席位和重組國美董事局的前提下進行。在沒有換得對手更多的讓步前，黃光裕家族不會放下這件武器。

問題二：董事會席位將擴充？

黃氏家族要話語權

928后，曾在股東大會上被指責為國美門口野蠻人的貝恩資本開始扮演和事佬的角色。貝恩資本（亞洲）董事總經理竺稼在日前舉行的第七屆中國國際金融論壇上表示，可以考慮增加國美董事會席位。據說陳曉也并不反對為黃家增設董事局席位。消息人士透露，9月中旬，陳曉曾對剛剛獲釋的黃光裕妻子杜鵑表態稱，你說今天要進來一個，我答應；進來兩個，我也答應。董事會可以加人，但是不應該換人。對于希望爭取董事會話語權的黃氏家族而言，這樣的妥協是否已經足夠？

創始大股東對于重組國美董事會的訴求沒有改變。創始大股東認為，重組后的董事會要能夠合理反映全體股東的訴求和主張，創始大股東在董事會里有合理的席位，保留適當的代表性。昨日，在接受記者采訪時，黃光裕方面巧妙地回避了對于增加董事席位方案的評論。大股東的理想方案顯然是，用黃燕虹和鄒曉春替代陳曉和孫一丁，而非僅僅增加董事人選。

但是，胡剛認為，董事會席位最終會達到均勢格局。黃氏家族占有約三分之一股權卻在董事會沒有一個有效的利益代言席位，貝恩轉股后僅僅持有國美股權十分之一，卻在董事會擁有4個利益代言席位。創始人大股東出資最多但話語權為零的現象是無法長久的。

黃光裕方面昨日接受記者采訪時表示，目前雙方的協商仍在繼續，但未就一攬子計劃達成一致意見。在陳曉留任等問題上，黃光裕方面仍舊態度強硬地稱，盡管陳曉問題非核心問題，但不能理解成大股東接受陳曉留任。國美董事會主席職務是解決國美長遠問題的一攬子計劃的一部分，應統籌考慮。
